Expand AllOn Day 1, you start your adventure by taking a short 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The flight is exciting because you get to see beautiful mountain views from the plane. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you’ll drive for about 1.5 hours to a place called New Bridge. From there, your trek begins!
You will start walking towards Ulleri, a lovely village located at 1,960 meters. The trail is scenic, with green hills, farms, and small villages. As you walk, you will see traditional houses and meet local people. The hike to Ulleri is a bit challenging, with some uphill sections, but the views are amazing and make it worth the effort. By the end of the day, you will reach Ulleri, where you’ll rest and enjoy a cozy night before continuing your journey tomorrow.
On Day 2, you continue your trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani, which will take about 5 to 6 hours. The path is mostly uphill, so it’s a bit tough, but it’s also beautiful. You’ll walk through green forests filled with tall trees, and if you’re trekking in the spring, you might see colorful rhododendron flowers. Along the way, you can hear birds singing and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

As you continue, the path becomes a little steeper, and you’ll notice the air getting thinner since you’re climbing higher. On Day 6, you will trek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp, which takes about 6 to 7 hours. This is an exciting day because you are getting closer to the highest point of the trek! The air gets thinner as you climb higher, so it’s important to take it slow and rest when needed. Along the way, you’ll pass through small settlements and walk beside rivers and waterfalls. On Day 7, you will trek from Annapurna Base Camp back down to Sinuwa, which will take about 7 to 8 hours. On Day 8, you will trek from Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda, which takes about 2 to 3 hours. The trek today is much shorter and easier. As you walk, you’ll enjoy the last beautiful views of the mountains and pass through villages with friendly locals. When you reach Jhinu Danda, you can relax and take a break.
One of the highlights of Jhinu Danda is the hot springs nearby. If you have time, you can enjoy a warm bath in the natural hot springs, which will feel great after days of trekking!
After resting, you will take a drive back to Pokhara. The drive takes about 2 to 3 hours, and along the way, you can enjoy the views of the countryside and rivers. Once you reach Pokhara, you can relax, enjoy a nice meal, and celebrate the completion of your amazing trek!
On Day 9, you will leave Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. The journey takes about 6 to 7 hours, covering a distance of 210 kilometers. The drive is comfortable and scenic, and along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains, rivers, and countryside. You’ll pass through small towns and villages, seeing how people live in the rural areas of Nepal.

The trek lasts for 9 days, with 7 days of hiking and 2 days of traveling to and from Pokhara and Kathmandu.
