Your exciting day begins with a 10 AM pickup from your hotel. After a comfortable drive, you’ll reach Changu Narayan by 11:30 AM, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will start your hike to Nagarkot, which is about 4-5 hours of walking through nature and peaceful villages. As you hike, enjoy the fresh air and amazing views. Nagarkot sits at 2,170 meters and offers a great view of the golden snow-capped mountains, especially during sunset. After watching the sun set over the mountains, you’ll hop into a private car and drive back to Kathmandu. The blue Gokyo Lakes were the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The mountain views were breathtaking, and every day felt like a new adventure. The guides were so kind and helpful, making sure we were safe and comfortable. The tea houses were cozy, and the food was warm and tasty. Climbing Gokyo Ri was tough, but the view from the top was totally worth it! This trek was peaceful and less crowded than Everest Base Camp. I will never forget this experience.
